The rotating telemetry systems make physical measurements - such as temperature, pressure, torque, stress, and displacement of rotating machines, and send the signals wirelessly to the fixed side.

On the rotating side, transmitter and battery (or, receiving coil and rectifier in case of induction power transfer) are installed. Traditionally, the slip ring has been used to transfer the signals from rotating side, but it wears and needs to be replaced, and it fluctuates the signals and causes measurement error. In industry, automotive in particular, a lot of rotating machines are used, and various measurements - such as temperature, strain, displacement, vibration, and others, of rotation machines – are made.
